Meet John Hollingworth

Started his marine outboard apprenticeship in Tasmania in 1979 progressing  through to work on 2 stroke outboard motors and high performance powerboats , involved in both the high speed power boat racing and high speed ski racing, including assisting in an outboard motor high speed world record attempt, and winning the King of the Tamar Ski Race as a driver.  John also worked on all brands of marine 2 stroke outboard motors and work with commercial Abalone Divers and recreational Cray fishers. 

 

John moved to the NT in 1998 to work as a lead Mechanic for Boatland Winnellie, before diversifying into Parts and Sales as well. Specialising in Optimax Direct injection motors, John is also trained in the latest Mercury 4 stroke technology .

Meet Daniel Prosser

Started his marine outboard apprenticeship at Boatland Winnellie in 1995, he progressed through to work on 2 and 4 stroke outboard motors and Mercruiser and Steyr  stern drive motors, before setting up his own mobile marine service for 4 years.  Daniel returned to Boatland to run the workshop in 2014. Daniel is also trained in the latest Mercury 4 stroke motor technology, and specialises in the new marine electronics associated with the latest Mercury electronic systems.
